141. 8 in the morning…
…and out of desperation I am using the internet here at school! I still have not been able to get my connection yet but it has been fine - quite surprisingly actually considering that I used to go online almost everyday. But now I am simply using it for simpler needs like checking my email and updating my site here although it isn’t really a need :P
My holidays begin next Wednesday but the truth of it all as we all students know, it’s not really a holiday. It’s so much more than a break - more like the final lap before the race ends. However since I complete my exams a lot earlier than most people >:), I have recently signed up for AC in faith, believing for greater things. There are so many electives and it took me about half an hour just to choose!
“How to be a good PA to the Pastor” caught my eye immediately! haha :D
gotta go! Time to go get some revision done before the cranky librarian catches me.

140. aaaalways
Internet has been down for dayssssss and it’s been crazy! I still have to wait but I don’t know for how long. I am at Coffeebean at the moment while Hui Ting, Derek and Andrew are playing Simpsons monopoly. Derek and Richmond are indulged in what I assume is a conversation about music, while Markjay is being bored watching the televesion here and Bernard and Yvonne are having what looks like an interesting talk.
I’m here in the corner listening/watching to the 3:30pm Jurong Service (well not really now because it’s lagging very badly… can’t blame it with the internet speed here! Kay nevermind it just started again haha :D) Ling and Bernard are back from Singapore and it’s been wonderful to spend time with them. From Monday through Wednesday a Chinese church speaker from City Harvest came for three meetings in a row. I went on the last night and I can’t explain what I had experienced… Although I couldn’t understand everything, at the same time I still could capture the heart behind the message. It’s really indescribable and my words alone cannot define my experience. It was the first time I felt like that- I don’t know what I received, but I definately did capture something.
School today was difficult and stressful, but it is the life of a student after all! Called to be more than conquerors, our first ministry is to be students, and excel in everything we do… A big struggle especially with Accounting and Maths! I am revising all my AS topics at the moment. It is not easy, tell me about it! But I do thnk that it’s getting fun and I really like anything that involves algebra in Maths. Like binomial expansion, completing the square, stuff like that :) Circular measure/trigonometry/integration however, is not my cup of tea. Unfortunately we have to adapt to it and do welllll haha :P
It’s been a really wonderful week. I am truly grateful.

I haven’t been online in DAYS because my internet has been disconnected :( Well it’s going to be reconnected soon I hope; I’m in Easyway with Angel chillaxing (but I’ve got to get my butt home soon) and just checking my email, Facebook, Friendster (HAHA ancient stuff mygosh) wellllll….. :D I’m going off soon becuase it’s getting late, and getting dark. I just needed to get out and check some things online. What have I become.. :(
I haven’t transferred muh photos so I don’t have much to blog about.
Random stuff that has happened:
1) I was going to say something here but I was afraid that if anyone who really loves animals reads this I may be sent to prison for life and die there so if you want to know, just ask.
2) My dad brought me out for a cardrive to two beaches and a cemetery. I will blog about the cemetery part some other time. I love looking at cemeteries whenever I pass them by.
3) I didn’t go to school today. REBEL :O
4) I’m happy that a lot of people will be back this month :)
5) I just realized in 4 months time, 2009 will be here.

I just went out with Derek and Bev after my last paper this afternoon. Looked like it was going to rain so I decided to lug my huge camera bag with me, since I don’t have a big-enough handbag to dump it in… I really like big handbags but my mum never wanted to get me one :(

In Coffeebean Gadong, sometimes, depending on who is serving you at the counter and the number of customers they have, they’ll ask for your name and they will write it on your order so it’s easier to spot your drink. 135. 大家好 :)
Things I’ve done so far today;
1. Went to school and sat for my Statistics Paper. Please, do not ask.
2. Drove and reached home at about 9:30ish. Zzz…
3. Watched about three episodes of Full House :D Song Hye-Kyo is super gorgeous, sigh. Just downright depressing. HAHA, joke!
4. Washed my car and did about half of the vacuuming (the car vacuum is old and only my maid has the magic fingers to work it. She did burn her fingers while trying to plug it into the cigarette lighter though… I tried not to laugh, but I did still, and I think that was pretty mean of me to do so.)
5. Ate curry maggi noodles for lunch :( how pathetic.
6. Talked to VONNON who is finally back from Manila!
7. Here. Online. Doing. This.
Things I’ll be doing later today;
1. Take a uber long shower and blowdry my hair until perfection (yeah, right).
2. Print sheets and etc.
3. Meet mum for dance class? Or not, she’s still at work.
4. Music practice at 4:30pm!! Really can’t wait to seeeeee my homies again :)
5. Probs go out with the el usual people then have dinner with mumsy and Jo :D
6. Practice Accounting MCQs. and maybe some Hypothesis Testing PYQs.

Since my brother has left, the house has been so quiet (OneRepublic’s Stop and Stare just played, how inappropriately… appropriate?). Maybe that’s also because my dad is still in Cambodia, texted him yesterday asking how’s it going and he said it’s a heaven for taking photos.
Surprisingly, I think I miss my brother quite a lot! Unknowingly, of course. Although that would be an oxymoron since I just admitted it a few seconds ago.

Things I’ve done so far after making the list of things I’ll be doing;
1. Went to Yvonne’s house for like 10 minutes then went for practice. (LOL, practice was crazy as usual… “Welcome to Brunei!” haha)
2. I didn’t go out for dinner. Mum tapao-ed thienthien chicken rice instead :( So depressing /cutsself.
I’m not such a huge fan of Rain (sorry Amelia please don’t murder me!) and while watching this series (it’s my first time by the way) I didn’t really like the character. Not only because of his egoistic nature in the role he was playing, but to me he acted quite childish too. Haha well he is nice to look at ;) Nothing beats my hotbod Olympian, Park Tae Hwan, though, I haven’t seen him since that day… :(
Gonna turn in in a bit. Will bring my camera out tomorrow and hopefully, will have more pictures to post here to prevent this space from getting more and more boring! Just made a new header after I noticed that I had quite a lot of cute Japanese little pictures lying around doing nothing :D Nvm that. I just switched to my old layout because I got annoyed lol. I forgot to bring my camera out… Sigh…

134. on a Jetplane!
I went to the doctors on Sunday afternoon before having lunch with my mum, and turns out that I had tonsilitis! I had white spots all around my throat which is probably the reason why it was hurting so much. I was given lozenges to eat as well. But all is good because the antibiotics really worked well and I’m free from pain now! It even feels weird that I don’t swallow with pain anymore haha.
I suddenly felt a bump at the side of my neck, I googled tonsilitis and turns out that a lymph node on your neck is one of its side effect :O Odd! I had a lymph node once on my lower lip, it was pretty huge, had an operation to remove it a few years ago lol.
Omg I hear Derek singing on my iTunes! He pronounces “covers” like “kaaavers”.
Had lunch with Caesar, Jackelyn and her mum today at Ideal today :) It was delightful, I love having conversations with her because it goes on and on without end lol. And they’re all very interesting topics. She lanja-ed us ice-cream as well too. I have found a new joy today: Jackelyn introduced me to this icepopsicle sort of thing which is mango flavoured, and at the tip there is real actual mango fruit inside the ice! It’s yum yum and brings a smile to my tum tum :D
Anyway, I had dinner with my brother and mum, my brother’s leaving for KL tomorrow night. The BMW is now all MINE! Teehee! I will treat it with utmost respect and honour of which it deserves… During dinner, we were talking about so many things and after that conversation, I am even more unsure of what I want to do in Uni now :( or even where I’ll be studying, in fact. I have always had a dream since I was in 14 to study in Singapore anyway, I think my heart’s there :P but we’ll have to see. The mock papers yesterday and today were toughstuff and my real November AS/A2 papers start in approximately 64 days :O

133. it’s been almost a week…
… and still, my throat hurts :( I haven’t gone to the doctor’s yet which is a silly thing for me to do. I’ll be going tomorrow, hopefully before lunch time and before youth service :) I’m listening to KC & Jojo - All My Life (so oldschool!) on my “new” (because my dad gave it to me from his office) speakers! They’re sooo huge.. I was telling my dad how I want speakers for my laptop because the sound this Vaio produces is terrible lol. Instead of wanting to spend on cash he gave me his instead hahaha rather silly to me, but that’s my dad lol. It’s pretty huge to me and the subwoofer is on the floor right now. I share the room with my parents, so we’re already cramped for space with my books all around. Not a pretty sight especially the wiring. Well, we’ll fix that a little later.
So my mock exams start Monday and I haven’t been feeling any better. I didn’t go to school today either :( Yesterday morning I was pretty glad because drinking water wasn’t painful at all but the moment I woke up today it was terrible. I’ve been sleeping alot and not revising enough! Nyak nyak. Okay I shall stop the ranting of me being sick. I do have something to talk about :P
Just last night, a cousin of mine who lives in Malaysia just passed away. She’s only at the age of 10. I only found this out a few hours ago, at about 8pm+ when my mom read the newspaper. She’s my aunt’s granddaughter, making my mum the grandaunty so that explains why she’s so young. She was diagnosed with brain cancer last February 2007…
Since it was in the local Miri Chinese newspaper and I can’t read very well, I noticed a lot of numbers with colons (:) so I guessed that they were verses from the Bible. And with my lousy, broken, shouldn’t-even-be-spoken mandarin, I read out loud the main verse at the start of the page.. “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life“..
Despite the unfortunate occurance, it managed to put a smile on my face after reading what I read.
132. painful leh?
I need a cure for my cough and sore throat pronto :( besides taking medication because I’m very stubborn and I don’t like medicines lol. I had hot green tea and honey with my brother at Teo Poi Hoon today after school though :D Calmed my throat down for a while. Now it’s acting pretty crazy, even when I’m drinking water (which is supposed to be good for me)!
I am going to missssssss the BBQ tomorrow :((((((( because tonight’s tuition got cancelled and yeah, I’ve got a replacement tomorrow. I really want to watch the AFC Talentime DVD! I want to laugh with my bandmates on how lousy we did HAHAHAHAHA since we *COUGH* did not win first place for ANY of the events (but still won first place overall- geng or not?). Nevermind, I will go after tuition and be a rebel until very late at night - yeah right late, I’d probably have to be home before midnight. Been online a little too much and that’s a really bad habit I suppose.
