The week has passed by relatively very fast and I’m back to school in a few days! Juggling schoolwork, exams (5 subjects = 10 papers), family time, friends - especially that now more and more people are leaving.. It’s always sad but it’s one of the few inevitable things in life that we all go through as young people, as adults, of any age - change happens. It’s a real thing.
During I think the first night of the RYW conference, I remember Joel speaking about different things that “rock” a young person’s world. It could come in the form of the person of the opposite sex, rockbands, fashion, the arts, media, their friends. Then he started speaking about how other things rock a young person’s world too. A breakup in a family, financial problems, losing people in their lives.. It’s a really real thing that affect young people everywhere (but sometimes just rarely spoken of), despite their background, religion beliefs, morals and ethnics.
He talked to us about going through hard times as a believer too. Sometimes as a young person, we tend to get caught up in our own world and our issues and make it seem we’re the only ones going through a tough time. I know I’m like that sometimes. In 2 Corinthians 11:24 onwards, Paul speaks of the time where he was shipwrecked, whipped, in danger with robbers, beaten, stoned… the whole package! The next chapter, though, is so different. It’s an unexpected response to everything he has gone through.
“Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”
I am really blessed to have such great leaders who will support me all the way; not just in the four walls of the church but will continue to be there for me in times of trouble, counsel me, advise me, pray with me, and to guide me when the going really starts getting tough. Throughout all the years since I have been saved, they have never let me down, they always are there to build me up. And though there are times where I’ve failed, the look past my mistakes.. which I think isn’t easy for people to do.

101. driving…
…is so tiring!
I just got home after about 2 hours of driving. I’m so tireddd. I had to walk from my place to the stadium in the wonderful sun which took about 20 minutes.. because my brother got home at like five in the AM, and quote; “Hell hath no fury more than that of a brother woken up before 2 o’clock”. HAHAHA I was super drowsy lor when he typed that, and I laughed later on when I read it again :D
Ok, so what’s it with this clutch+minyak thing? It’s driving me CRAZY ’cause I can’t get it right. I release the clutch by a little, then hit the gas? Or do I hit the gas first then release the clutch!??!! :( my teacher is hilarious and very cute. She laughs everytime my engine dies and calls me “Ting Ting”. I mean, seriously.. who does that? Nobody calls me that anymore! Anyway, I’m going off for service soon, waiting for my transportzzz yo! Soon enough, I won’t have to wait for a vroom vroom to bring me places anymore :D
Bernard just turned 19 two days ago! Happy birthday Loud-Bernard :) You’re leaving very soooooooon lor.. Remember we still gotta tell someone about the toilet incident :P Lots of other March babies, happy birthday to you allllllll.. CONFERENCE IS IN 10 days!!!

100. the weather is fineeee
Having Business class in the afternoon is crazy because the weather has been incredibly hot! It’s also really crowded, since the lower six students are in the school and making themselves feel “comfortable” within our territory.. Joyce, I met your neighbour, Rachel who’s studying in our school too :D
Though it’s been quite hectic, the weekend is gone but the new week has arrived. Starting today I’m not going to have a study period anymore, because I’m going for two accounting classes in a day to do some work and catch up in my teacher’s other block. Haha she suggested that I do so.. since I am taking all subjects including an extra English this June. I so can’t wait :P I’m still looking for a maths teacher! Almost all the teachers I’ve gone to ask for only teach Mechanics, whereas the ONE available statistics teacher teaches on the days which I can’t change my schedule on. Alot of extra work involvedddd! I would never replace my stats with mechanics though. I love it!
But now we’re doing differentiation and I want to cry :’(
Next Thursday is the last day of school! *throws confetti* I can’t wait la. And I’m starting driving lessons this Friday morning. I am really excited about that.. so I can start driving of course and hopefully, to be able to help out more and not ask for transport all the time so much :| Also, this will give me a great opportunity to visit people and make things much more easier for my brother (who gets grumpy all the time when he needs to bring me to places) as well as for my parents. They’re really busy already as it is and even right now my dad’s not around in Brunei.
WOO IT’S HOTTTTTT so this is it :) Just a random update or whatever. I’ll update when I can soon, with pictures! I haven’t been taking any for a while :/
