NO-HOMEWORK-DAY!

Yes, you’ve read the title of this post correctly. NO HOMEWORK! Amazing really; but I’m not going to question its current disappearance because I know we will have more tomorrow -____-” HAHA well I’ve been wanting to blog more often lately, as I’ve been reading a lot of things now online… Articles, blogs (people in BD sure have a way of expressing themselves artfully), news and some other interesting information. Last night my father told me and my brother that we might be going to Angkor Wat during the June holidays and he asked me to look it up through the Net. I was like what? Thailand? Why not Bangkok?! (forgive me if I can’t remember a thing from Primary 6/Form 3 history) So I looked it up.

Turns out it’s in Cambodia instead. My, how my history 5k1llz has been dreadfully concealed for many years… Here’s a quick blast-from-the-past treat to those who have no idea what this Angkor (What?) is.

It was built for King Suryavarman the second in the 12th century and his state temple and capital city. It was first built religiously; for devotion unto the Hindu-then-Buddhist gods. The temple is the epitome of the high classical style of Khmer architecture, and now has become the symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag. Thanks, Wikipedia! :D

You must be thinking that I have nothing else to post on. I am not a huge fan about anything historical or rather, kampung-ish… but I guess it is different. Anyway, the Simpsons is on now so that’s all for me. Anyone want to try rock climbing? :P

P/S: I’ve been looking through so many blogs on food and delicacies now and I can’t say they’ve been helping very much with the constant hunger pangs.. For starters, check this out. I’m not too concerned when it comes to desserts but main courses are my heart’s forte. ENJOY!

Dad gave me pleasant surprise just now. Will post up pictures soon. :D Start of a new week! The holidays are coming; Emerge 2007 is just in a few days but I can’t make it; I can’t miss the four days of school (I thought I’d only be missing two at first) and my brother’s heading back to Australia. I think I’ll miss him the most this time round; we’ve hung out so much and he’s the only person who can laugh and withstand the extent of my jokes and lameness. That’s what brothers are for. :) hahaha.

How was the Pirates of the Carribean? I heard many different reviews and I think I’ll be watching it this Wednesday. I haven’t got enough sleep lately though because my brother has been up watching That 70s Show early in the morning till about the time I wake up for school, 6am haha horrible. :(

Anyway, just a filler so yeah that’s all for now.

Thought I’d blog early this morning since I’ve been neglecting it for a long while. been busy, the first common test was just over last week, and we’ve gotten the papers back. Some satisfactory, some not, so… there’s a lot of brushing up to do. Math and accounting tutors, anyone? :P

I finally managed to get good internet speed now, with the help of E-Speed 2 (yes, miraculously, I’ve been surviving on BruNet for the past Idontknowhowmany years) and finally… it’s so much better now, not having to wait so long as before. Looking at the green liquid run fast in the tube (as I always say, when transferring songs on MSN) is a delight. I have just downloaded my 3rd O2Jam songpack, and woooopeeee! And have just leveled up twice since last night :D HEH.

I found some interesting sites that have been rather interesting; this, this and this. Most of you have probably already visited at least 1 or all 3 of these sites before, but yeah, they’re pretty interesting.

Also, I finally got a hair cut! :D It takes a long while to style it and all, as I’m not used to doing so. I usually just brush my hair and I’m on my way out, but I can’t really do that right now… I want to cut it shorter though. :D

This is my not-styled hair. you can’t really see much difference yet. I so malas la to wax it all up. Can anyone recommend some good hair wax? And hair-spray too… hair’s quite stubborn. ;)

I wonder if Andrew is still in Vietnam?

Anyway, gotta go now, breakfast time. See ya!
