It just started raining heavily and thunderstorms are booming every now and then. I’m also listening to Planetshakers‘ Never Stop album so it’s a bit noisy here. I just saw a few strikes of lightning and the Astro is turning “This services is currently unavailable” which is upsetting my maid. Hahaha and oh my the power went out for like 2 seconds! Okay I just realized that I got tagged by Jason like weeks ago but I never did anything so I’m gonna do the stoopid thing now :)
“Those who get tagged must post 6 weird things about themselves in their blog and state the rules clearly. At the end of the post, you must choose 6 other people to tag.”
1. Every time I sneeze, I have a weird ’shriek’ or whatchamacallit some sound that randomly comes out of nowhere. It goes like ‘EE!’ I think. Don’t know la but yeah it will always somehow come out of nowhere after sneezing.
2. I do this thing with my nose, where I press both sides together and let my fingers go with the sides still stuck to the middle - my friends call it the Michael Jackson look.
3. If I think my schoolwork/something I wrote in a book like some journal is messy, I’d rewrite the whole page over again. I can’t stand the sight of anything scribbled with pen; I have to erase everything with a correction pen/tippex. Once, I rewrote my whole Biology and Chemistry notebook because there were a few missing work and it was just really messy and it was almost a year’s worth of work; I finished it in less than a week.
4. When I return a mechanical pencil (pencil-led/lit in lame-man’s terms) into my pencil-case, I will always click once and place it on top of a surface (like a table) so that the led will go inside, therefore will not be exposed and break when it’s inside. HAHA does that make sense? But I think anyone normal would do that. Right? :D
5. I have a tendency of renaming all the contacts in my phone book (like from ‘Abu‘ to ‘A b u’) and when I’m done to the last contact, I’d rename it back to how it used to be again right after.
6. I can’t stand seeing any unknown numbers on my calls list; if I don’t know the number I’d automatically save it even that person would only call me once using his mom’s number or something. If not, I’d just delete it ’cause the sight just isn’t nice.
I shall tag this to no one! hehehe
I’m listening to City Harvest Church now. My brother taught me how to convert the DVD into a mp3 file, and from there edit it (cut/paste etc) using another program. Pretty cool stuff! So now I finally have the songs I couldn’t find on LimeWire or anywhere else on my computer and iPod :) heehee.. wonderful. Was good seeing my friends again at Acts. Yen is now in my cellgroup, so that is going to be super fun! Chun Shen is with Des Lim, and he’s definitely gonna have fun. It was so exciting seeing my friends at camp and still great to see them now every week with an extra day - Friday, at service. Next week we’re going to be at AC2. I haven’t seen it yet but I had it looks pretty fab, with red chairs and red carpets, if I’m not mistaken.
Next week is already Easter - wow, time has passed by really quick. I’ve been in my new school for slightly over a month already. The workload has definitely increased and now I think I need to spend my PS (personal study) in the library where I can actually do my work because I can’t do anything in the canteen, where my friends and I always chit chat. hahaha there’s no school tomorrow and I’m planning to catch a movie and bring mommy with me. I was supposed to watch Mr. Bean with her and my brother but it was over the camp period, and they were free tickets with free drinks and food, compliments from HSBC. She’ll be leaving for KL next week. She won a trip there from a lucky draw which includes two free air tickets to and fro, inclusive of tickets to Formula One’s Grand Prix!!! She’s really happy about it. She really wanted me to go with her but that would mean skipping school - which is sorta difficult, as I’m already planning to go to Singapore in May. She loves F1 by the way so yes that really is the thing for her :P
I love being around passionate people - their fire and fuel to always do something and make things happen always stirs something within me. Yeah I just thought I’d say that. Passionate people are not just talkers, but they do more than speak.. most passionate people don’t even say much. Reminds me of the ‘Belt of Truth‘ we heard about today. Truth is just not about the words you say, but by the lifestyle you live. Without truth life just falls apart. Just like a pair of loose jeans without a belt :)
I… am… getting… sleepy but here’s a few pictures. Went out with Shin Yen and Sei Kee to Escapade to have yum yum. I’m getting pretty sick of that place, I think I’ve been there for about 10 times since my birthday this year. Thanks for the treat though! :D We should go to friends’ places more than going out, it’s more homey and plus we save more money since we all complain about being broke almost all the time. I miss the old steamboats and barbeques we used to have all the time.
Ye….ah. We’re both suffering from such bad eyebags; due to Accounting and Business homework keeping us up all night/morning ._.

playing with macro - thanks to von for teaching me the skillzzz :)
Happy birthday to all the March/April babies from Frontliners!
:) Tyler and his itty bitty fringe so cute.
“Your glory out of heaven shines, all consuming, overflowing - Given for each heart to find in You“
Yoohoo! I’m back! :) With so much to share. I’ve (halfway) lost my voice, am completely creditless, made a couple of new friends and gained so much that I’ve taken home and in heart. Extraordinary Camp was great! I saw my friends give their lives and hearts to God and that was a brilliant experience. It was so exciting and He’s really blew my mind. I can’t wait for school to start but also I wish that school started about another week later because I’m still up to my neck with homework. How vunderful.
Was in the team Xhosa then moved to Atecotti after the first night. Angeline and Gerald were my group leaders respectively! The Amazing Race was super fun can, really exciting to work with the group and scream my lungs out of frustration because I couldn’t handle the weight of those on top of me during the pyramid. HAHA! Very sorry to the judges, I was a tad cranky because we were so far behind; started out 2nd and ended up 7th HAHA. I loved the walks to the KTM restaurant though! Very refreshing, we always walk with different people of different groups. And it didn’t rain throughout, not until the last day after all the sessions and camp was finally over :)
Received a little surprise on the first night though; my brother came over to pass me something. My dad just came back from HongKong that day and got each of us a gift. Bro got a White iPod Video while I got a Cybershot DSC-T10. hehehe. What a delightful surprise, that was just what I wanted. I asked my dad while on the way home how’d he know we wanted, and he said “Do you think I never hear what you guys talk about?” It’s funny because I rarely ask my dad for things, and yet… yeah. You get the drift. :D
Life is way too short to get messed up over things that we as people, have control over.
/edit - Don’t know where my pictures went :(
No matter what your past is, you still have that chance to live a victorious life. One that doesn’t require you to compromise or stoop down to a lower level just because things seem to get difficult. One that inspires you to inspire others (now that’s real living!). One that gives you the spirit and power to do great things, not just emotions that bring you around on a cheap ride that never lasts long =) It’s powerful, exciting, extraordinary, beautiful, challenging, fun. It’s something that brings you one step closer to eternity. Innocence tested that brings virtue <3 A world He created yet I can call my own. Once lost but now found. I have a place in this world to be in and a chance to tell of how He's a hero, a deliver and someone who has rescued, rescues and will rescue those in need.
See a need and meet it, see a hurt and heal it.

You hold my world in the palm of Your hands
All my hopes, my dreams, my plans
You’re all that I desire
You’re all my heart is after
Your Spirit speaks to me, You bring me to my knees
You’re the extra in my ordinary world!
Hallo! Just came home. Was in school not for lessons, but for our cross-country.. Was kinda fun, ran at first for a while then slowed down. By a lot :p The run was through the roads in between houses and a huge round over school. I was drenched in sweat but we all secretly took off our tudongs *shh* :) Today’s the last day of school. i couldn’t take any pictures cos i sold off my phone =( boo. Will wait and see then. I don’t have any extra classes (yahoo!) but a truckload of homework. I have 7 chapters worth of Accounting to do! Each chapter has about 6 or 8 questions. Wa!!! There goes my holiday. But I simply can’t wait for Camp! and also the new second term =D
Chun Shen dropped me home just now. His driving skills is so scary la, manual car somemore. Hahaha- but he’s a nice guy. Stuck with me for the Indera Wijaya sports committee =P We, together with Caeser went to AFC and Virtuoso for awhile just now. They’re coming for camp! Yayeeee!!! together with some other people from school. It’s just going to be so much fun, and I am totally looking forward to it. I saw Ling just now and she just came back from Spore yesterday I think. She looks tired - but still ever ready, like usual. Hahhah. I can’t wait to meet up with my cellgroup members again tomorrow and bring my friends over. =)
Anyway, gotta shower now. I stink! P.U. Ciao!
Here are some pictures over the weekend-
(At this moment, Blogger’s been really slow now!)
After that lunch I went for Acts and after that I had Japanese again with Choon Mei, Steph, Bev, Joyce and Diana for CM’s birthday. She’s turning 21 this Tuesday. Thanks for that too, and I am now officially in love with Macha Ice Cream or simply, green tea ice cream. I heard the DQ one is really good so I would so wanna try that. I miss B&J though, their cinnamon yogurt treat is simply so deliciously yummy. I had Japanese again the next night! I’m starting to think that its lost it’s uniqueness, cause I have it so often. Hahhaha. We had a little surprise for Bernard and Des, then had cake at Jamie’s house. It was such a good, sinful cake.. it was really good though! If I gained a kilo I know who to blame! =)
Des is now officially 19. It’s comforting to know that you will always be two steps ahead of me. Hahaha we’re all growing up and it’s no wonder how things surpass you so fast. Bah, gonna go now and studehhh for my test! Ciaooooo
I washed my hair today and I could see the colors literally fading off. I really miss my colored hair. I missed my dark hair a few weeks after I got my hair first done and now I miss my red and yellow hair. People can never be satisfied sometimes. The Bible says that we are to learn how to be content in whatever circumstances we are in.
So tomorrow I’m going to have lunch with my friends for Von’s birthday. I am gonna have fun with them for sure and catch up with the rest of them and exchange stories from school. And take lots of pictures! Joyce just called about a few hours ago telling me about Acts which I’ll be going after the lunch. She’s going to Singapore this weekend with Ling. Sounds super fun. I miss Singapore lots! Bring back Ben and Jerry’s for me! Hahaha.
Ok random post. Happy advanced birthday to Bernard & Des who are turning more and more legal as the years pass on. We age like fine wine!
First and foremost I wanna send my condolences to the family of late Vivian. What a heart-breaking incident. Life’s moments really can change and alter without knocking on the door.
I’ve been so busy ever since school started last week. Was sick for a while- but after the injection I got, I’ve been more fine that ever, my appetite’s back :P Homework piles up and up with every passing day. I am so thankful for the holidays that start next Thursday, cause it gives me time to catch up with my homework. And camp’s coming soon too!!! Whee. I am sure it’s going to make a huge impact. Quadratic equations in Maths class is sure giving me a headache! 6th form is quite a big step moving from Sec school.
Plus I am hanging out with all sorts of different people now that I have never hung out with before in St Andrews, with the exception of Von whose birthday is coming up this Friday! Happy advanced birthday girl. I got to meet a lot of new people which is always fun. And using a tudong is a challenge for me. Hahaha
I’m enjoying my piano lessons so much more than I used to back a few years ago. I actually love doing the scales and technique practices which I used to dislike the most. It’s so fun hehe. Me & Josh started emailing again. He’s a friend who I met at a conference almost 4 years back at KL. He’s in a band called Two Questions and he sent me a song they did in a studio recently and it really doesn’t sound like anything Malaysian! Pretty cool if you ask me.
Ok maths and accounting time. They’re screaming out to me!
Life is full of unexpected change. Just gotta do what we gotta do to its abundance with the time we have now. =)
