126. wait a minute

I just noticed how I haven’t wordpress-ed in 1week!+ and the last post wasn’t much of an update haha just some stupid random jokes. Anyways, it’s due to all the exams coming up real soon and I haven’t finished revising yet! Classes are still going on and teaching up all that’s left to be taught and the timetable isn’t even out yet. So we’re kinda left to just wait on the world to change (HAHA) and just study like, uh, whatever.

I’ve posted all the June pictures on Facebook :) So for those of you who were with me in most of June, go find and tag yourselves. I’m kinda lazy to do that now. Maybe when I’m in the mood for FB and not rushing for tuition which will start in an hour’s time :@ I’ll patiently tag every single picture which is.. taggable.

My dad is considering to get me car, while my mum is against the whole idea. My dad sometimes goes, “Ting do you want to use the car?” and immediately she objects, “No! It’s raining and it’s at night…” so you can sort of feel the drift. My dad made me promise him that I wouldn’t use the car for going outs unnecessary (to him everything is unnecessary, excluding tuition and school only) soooooo I did. HAHA well not just to get the car but I am quite tired of going out so much. Not only does it murder my wallet and the HSBC ATMs everywhere but also because the exams are starting, well, really soon. About 2 weeks to be exact.

So I don’t have any pictures to show you since I haven’t really brought my camera out since the beach outing last month. Kinda lazy but I probably will this Saturday during the Talentime. I’m kinda ngeh because I don’t quite know what we’re doing. The only thing I know that’s been finalized is the ‘A Whole New World’ duet with Y and J (ehseh so secretive) with the violins :D Which I think sound awesome! I’ve never played with any other instrument besides electric/acoustic/bass guitar, the drums, the kahon… so it’s a very big change. So classical. So beautiful :’) not just those stupid WahWah effects, highhats(sp?) and ‘flowerpower’ bass techniques. I’m not against loud/rock music but you know, change is always good and refreshing.

ANYYYYWAY, tomorrow I’ve got a SAT/Singapore talk at lunchtime in school! So many people are going to places like the UK or Australia to study, it’s seriously not funny anymore. And getting into Singaporean universities is much much harder than those 2 countries wahhhh. Please stretch time for me.

AH SO KEAI!!!!!!!!!! I love Hello Kitty, Sanrio & Gang like anything!!!!!! I’m looking for cutesy stickers to stick on my phone (maybe my laptop soon) and my calculator :) because it’s SO CUTE! OMG I’m getting ridiculously excited.

I’m looking for stickers to stick (duh obviously) on my phone, my calculator and maybe my laptop :) those stickers that you know can be removed easily in case I get angry at it HAHA since my laptop is so white/clean. Oh my gosh I’m getting so ridiculously excited. Even more because I just found out that tuition is cancelled HEHE.

124. my name is…

Just a short update since I have not said anything for almost a week :) On the other hand, though, I have no idea on who is reading my blog at all so I may not be speaking to anyone literally. I had, what I would call, a detox week/weekend. I could not text for a few days, and initially it was quite difficult and a little inconvenient as it was a habit and the easiest means of communication. I managed to squeeze in almost 5 hours of homework and revision on Friday because of this, which is quite the improvement from the mediocre three or two hours. Not to mention, I need to cut my online habits too :S Why am I saying this? I’ve got my qualifying exams in less than a month, and I’m going to retake my AS subjects in November.
(I know, it is a bit over, no maybe it’s VERY over)

Texting has also managed to keep me less upset (haha!) about some fishy wishy washa too that would be a bore to all you stone-dead readers so I’m not going to go into anything of that kind. On the other hand…

HEHEHE! This made me laugh big time in school yesterday :P Amirul proposed to me in library during free period on Saturday after I taught him how to make paper cranes (yes I can do them on my own now!) and gave me a paper ring (that he scribbed ‘My Property’) then proceeding to tell me this joke. Oh yes, strange things do happen to A Level Students :/

123. Part II

If you haven’t noticed, the numbers on my post titles represent the number of posts I have published so far. Unfortunately, I just realized that I am only up to the 113th post, making it about 10 posts in advanced.. Haha :P Anyway, no worries. School has just started today. It didn’t feel like we were on a two-week break at all. It just felt like a long weekend and we’re back in school already. Homework, class assignments, revision and tests as usual.

121. EYECANDY

I haven’t been very tech-savvy for a while. I mean, yeah sure I have new gadgets but a few years back, I used to switch from phone to phone like how often my maid would change the bedsheets (and it’s very often). I got quite bored I suppose, when phones got more and more identical. Just a few days ago while at a coffeeshop I told myself, the next phone I get should be is like one of those touch screen gadgets.. In my mind I had a O2/blackberry thing going on.

The G900 (above ^) is a pretty sweet looking thing with 5.0 megapixels of quality as its camera and a touch-screen. I’m pretty shocked at its retail price - not even BND700 - but I suppose it’s for those who really have size as an issue as well. While the phone has a lineup of great functions, I personally would have preferred it if it had a wider screen (it’s quite long already) and a QWERTY keyboard (Haha I like typing that word, QWERTY, ’cause I can just slide my fingers over it like I’m on the piano). I haven’t tried it out, for fear I’d be disappointed with the interface. I have issues with how phones look like on the inside; how the menus are, whether the colours on the inside match the phone itself (my W580i has dark and cool themes but my phone is white!) but I’ve checked out some videos online already.

Unfortunately, folks, our breaths are yet to be taken away.

120. walking towards nowhere

I went to watch two very awesome movies today :) A day well spent! Ya’ll should catch Kung Fu Panda (FTW! Don’t even compromise if you’re a real cartoon/comedy lover) and Get Smart like what a friend and I did today. It was the bomb diggity HAHAHA since when do I talk like that :S A day well spent indeed!

I saw Winnie there too! It was the first time I ever talked to her and coincidentally she was sitting at the same row and I was, while watching KFP. Haha we had a funny conversation :P

I haven’t watched movies in like, ages really. I think the last flick I caught in the cinema was Alvin and the Chipmunks and that was like, last year? Heh? How pathetic. What have I been busy with all this time? But the 2weeks break are making up for it! Hopefully I’m going to be able to go to KK this weekend or next week. Air Supply is going to have a concert there live, and my mum wants to go. My mum ah. Haha.

My mum is super adorable lo. She had a minor operation last Thursday - she’s fine now - and it was her first I think so she wasn’t sure how the procedure had to go and stuff. She had to remove her dentures (THE FUNNIEST LOL), her nail polish from her toenails and remove all her makeup. She didn’t really like the fact she had to go without her makeup on because she wanted to look gorgeous during the operation -_- that’s my mom. Lawlz.

They placed her dentures in this:

She was still quite drowsy after the operation; she had no idea what happened, couldn’t even remember the doctor who operated on her. Haha. And she was mumbling stuff while she was half awake or asleep; asking me to take out the makeup and put lipstick on her, msg her friends to say that she’s fine, etc, asking for food haha! Love my mom lah she’s so adorable at times. I also saw Carrie Wong there too! Do you know, it actually kinda scared me why she was there. I wasn’t sure if that was her or not. Then I asked the nurse who was there ’cause I wasn’t sure yet then found it was a dental thing than I was like phewwww relief HAHAHA she saw me I think, she looked really drowsy hahaha!! Like her eyes half opened and I wanted to say hi, but I was scared HAHAHA SORRY! Funny lah, but hope your tooth is fine already woman! :D

Stuff I want to buy if I do go to KK:-

1) Camera lens (doubt my mom would splurge this on me)

4) Red Razor Pro Click 1.6 mouse :) yes I am aware that I do not game but that’s one really cute mouse.

Hmm that’s all I can think of right now.

It’s past midnight and I got stuff to do tomorrow morning. I miss you Block 5 PS people alot! Since Clement left we haven’t been as ‘whole’ as we used to be. Since we can’t do tomorrow night hopefully we can sometime during the holidays. Unfortunately we are excellent are procrastination.

I had a wonderful weekend with my friends and going to church :) Although it was really tiring, it was all for GOOD! This spells the start of commitment… Right Y?
